The Leg Lace Lateral Drop

I Like it.  And that's all I have to say about that.

  1. Okay cool, but how many knees has this particular move destroyed? Call me a pussy, but I quit doing Judo-style moves because I fear the reaper… of my knees! Plus I got chicken legs. I won’t win any MMA matches by pulling guard, but I also won’t bust me or my partner’s knees in the process.

  2. Good Technique….I like it…Should you add force when taking your opponent down…in other words, shouldl you try to slam him/her….or just let his own body weight take him down? Also, what areas of my body do I half to protect when landing on the ground/surface?

  3. Great lesson. I have heard it’s been banned in Judo – I’m not sure why. Regardless, very effective technique from what I’m seeing.

  4. Maybe it’s an illegal Judo move because of the twisting of legs? If thrower falls wrongly something may break…? :/

  5. Hmm, my sis said it’s a legit Judo throw, it’s all hips and is meant to block / stop the person from moving. From that position you can throw in different directions.
