I saw an analysis of this fight on an YT channel sometime ago. Really impressive. I heard that the thai fighter broked the jaw when he was punched on the first round. Is nice to see how he changed to a more defensive stance (on hands) and begin to use the low kicks to attack – very strategic.
What a circus. That was some quality entertainment and illustrates value of the low roundhouse and being able to check it. The Americans were so salty after. Pure gold.
Devastating legs kicks..
Put the Muay Thai fighter in Against a top bjj guy these days and if it goes to the ground there is only one winner . If bjj guy can get it to the ground.
That’s why I love martial arts. FASCINATING.
Both of those guys were TOUGH! Do you think cooling the Thai boxers head with ice water helped that much–he seemed on the edge of unconsciousness toward the end of the first round as he lay under the ropes, but came back stronger than I would have expected…
Once he knew he could hurt him the end was visible, and the attempted kick to the head by Roufus AFTER the knockdown looked like it woke sonsgrit up. He sure seemed to pour the power into those kicks afterward eh. I have to wonder what would have been said if Roufus had landed that kick to the face when sonsgrit was down? Legal? probably. but…. eh and eh and shmeh! Great vid keep ’em coming!

Little dark skin Asian beats American hero.
If it doesn’t take much talent to kick to the legs maybe you can learn to do it too Dhd
No bias from the Ref there.
