  1. Gatrizein. Very nice.

Forget about sight picture… until you’ve been in a fight for you life 6-8 times, you won’t even see them. The target is all you see.

For superidiculoustraightness, aim with your support hand thumb. Give it a try.

    Cute purse, BTW.

  2. I believe I’ve read about that clip with the women front kicking the bloke us that she or he was a lady boy!

  3. By chambering your kick surely there is a possibility of telegraphing your intention.
Looking at the video the off duty cop could have been taken off balance. Fantastic
content of all the video clips so far but this one, we are not allowed to carry guns
in the UK. Thanks for all the previous knowledge.

    • Chambering insures that your kick is going OUT instead of penduluming UP. It’s important for the mechanics, and is faster than all other options

  4. From Australia. Not legally allowed any weapon carry – gun, knife, mace or paperclip. So any technique for the more lightly built person to quickly put the predator down and out of commission to make an escape?

      • Can have them at home, restaurant or fishing but carrying them on the street unless you have reasonable excuse for doing so will get you arrested. Self defence is not a reasonable excuse and telling police you’re going fishing when you’re in office clothes usually doesn’t cut it (pun intended).

  5. Trav,
Great to see you apply your logical approach and skills to include weapons. You have a pretty good draw and keep your eyes up on the threat. However, one thing to avoid is banging out reps where you draw and holster at the same speed as you did towards the end. This builds a training scar where you holster quickly right after shooting; instead slow it down after you present and always holster deliberately. Still I like where you are going with this and I would enjoy seeing you pressure test this sequence using sim rounds and protective gear….

    • I hear what you’re saying, but I don’t really believe that i would ‘accidentally’ holster my gun before dispatching the threat.

      • Not by accident, out of habit. You shoot someone, you will lose hearing, fine motor skills, get tunnel vision, etc, and you may holster before you notice his friend off to the side. For example, they used to find officers shot dead with empty brass in their pockets because they drilled for years not to dump revolver brass on the range, and they did it during a gunfight because that was the muscle memory they had built in training. There are lots of other examples. Thanks for hearing me out.

  6. Great video with great explanation. The lady in the dress was awesome. I hope it motivates people to actually practice the front kick.
