This makes me want to learn some jiu jitsu. I have little to no martial art experience, however, at 17 i still have plenty of time to learn and become quite good at any craft if i put the time and effort. Aside from jiu jitsu, does anybody know of any useful martial arts that i should consider studying for self defense?

Lots of.people have bad intentions, alot of people don’t like it and do something about it. They either use a weapon or use understanding and learning how to fight is one of them. Jujitsu was a Bruce lee invention of mix martial arts( it’s an art to get to the heart and solution to the problem quickly and submit or overcome your opponent) cool story the good guys won. Sometimes you have to have a heart just as quick just as aggressive, God forbid you have to get just as cold. Your still in the right to defend yourself.
