  1. This guy is incredible. It is unusual to see a fighter stick out his leg to keep them apart and measure distance. It’s very hard to offer a leg Ike that and be in a such a vulnerable position. Also, maybe because I’m old and slow, but I was taught to never drop your hands and keep them up. I learned something today and that was use the sweep to get out of the clinch. He has mastered that.
Your knife video was one of your best and today, everyone should own that one.
Trav, It’s time to get to work and create a new video. Today the biggest thing we need is how to deal with the quick street attack. It’s not likely I or any of us will be in an MMA match, but we are vulnerable to being jumped on the way in to pay for gas and get a hot coffee and a donut. It could also be the “Shark bump” where they get close, ask for change or a cigarette as they look around for witnesses. In a physical confrontation, I’m now only good for 60 seconds of hell and after that I’m done. We need a video on how to best deliver that 60 seconds of hell. Now a days I’m too lazy and I resort to MR 9mm and make it clear I don’t smoke, but my Smith and Wesson does. So come on, get to work and give us a video of the quality of your knife attack video

    • Steve Moses wrote several articles on the most important part of protecting yourself from this kind of attack – recognizing the threat and stopping it before it starts. I teach it to my Krav Maga students (particularly the gals) because it requires no physicality and works.
