  1. Cerrone. Khabib handled Connor like a man to a boy. Connor gases, and he’ll gas out even more at heavier weight. Also, too much ring rust from Connor. During his time off he couldn’t even knock out the old man in the bar with the sucker punch…..Don’t see how they call Cerrone “Cowboy” and he’s not even from Texas?

  2. I like McGregor but I think Cerrone might get the win. He is bigger than Conor and thats not a scenario that Conor is used to. Its much easier to get the upper hand when you are the bigger guy (if you are a striker) like it has been the case for McGregors past fights normally. Plus, Cerrone has been much more active these past months/years and that might also play a role.
    May the best man win!

  3. Conor until round 3, then 60/40 Cerrone. Cerrone seems to be a slow starter so if he can survive 3 rounds with Conor, I think Conor will be gassed right when Cerrone is starting to get his range dialed in. Same thoughts on the takedowns. This fight will be standing up mostly.

    • Bottom line, I think Cowboy has the skill, size, heart to beat Connor handily 8 out of 10 times. The one big variable is Cowboys mental approach and execution.
The way cowboys interviews have gone, I would say he is not mentally focused on having the best possible performance for this fight. I agree with Travis. 80% for Connor in the earlier rounds, later rounds 50/50. Specifically, Connor TKO or Later, Cowboy TKO.

  4. Conor 2nd round via Head Movement Program!!! I think Conor takes it with with pressure head movement and a south paw stance. All of which Cerrone struggles with. He will have to watch the leg kicks though.

  5. Hello my friend,

It’s interesting that you chose this fight to open up for predictions, but it makes sense with how much McGregor has riding on this fight. It is a career defining moment for him.
If he gets beat here it’s like Steverino said “who’s hungrier for the show?” If Conor did the work *and* wants it he should win the fight hands down, though it might be by decision. Like you said old buddy, Cerrone isn’t easy to finish.
