I was at T-Mobile for this fight and had $$ on Masvidal. AMAZING to see live but happened so quick that everyone had to watch the replay on the big screens over and over to really see what the heck happened!
Whether face, neck, or whole right side of head (as it looked to me), doesn’t matter. Just takes jarring focused anywhere to a portion of the head to cause the brain to ricochet inside the skull and you go to sleep. Your body’s way of saving you during severe trauma. Note the telltale rigor mortis-type stiffening of the limbs, or temporary paralysis.
Hardest strike I’ve ever felt in my life. My former coach, Steve Haigh, use to hit the pads with them so hard it was legitimately frightening. As in… how the hell are you supposed to take that?

After watching a few times I’m still not sureness what happened… (don’t see his knee hitting the jaw)

Did you feel like the bride that MARRIED a virgin on her wedding night? — 9 seconds, it was OVER 🙂
Looks like it was to the jaw or the neck
does that count….

And a flying knee is probably about as bad as it gets in terms of strike if it lands, can’t think of anything that comes close.

My beat is self-defense. With that in mind, I was never a fan of the double leg takedown. This is the reason why.
He didn’t even shoot a double leg though… just has a horrible habit of dropping his hands.
He thought he was safe at that distance, he was wrong LOL
Yes, followed by his shoulders, chest, chin…. Super necessary
old-hat SEEN THIS MILLION TIMES…..
I love this knock out. It never gets old
My dude…savagely executed email “blasting” today. A tip of the cap to you good sir.
“…You hypocritical bastard” had me literally laughing out loud. I needed that today. Thank you.
Who would expect a sudden impact like this? Allnof a sudden boom! lights out…
You have to be quick in getting out of the way!
