SHORT AND SWEET….I LIKE HAGLER’S STYLE……
I used to love these guys, and I believe I may have even seen this fight when it happened: me being a snot nosed youth, and my dad being a boxing fan!
My dad also likes the country singer Merle Haggard. So, I combined their names to call him “Marvelous Merle Haglard!!!!!!” So box, sing, and enjoy life!
They needed to watch your head movement video curse.
What an intense first round.
I first saw Marvin fight Ray more than once and until Ray retired Ray was my favorite it once Leonarnd was gone it was Marvin all the way from there. Actually it seemed to me that both Suger Ray and Marvin made their fortunes fighting each other and though Ray had the technical and super speed there was no better test for Ray than Marvin he was tough as nails and it took Ray everything he had and then some to finish Marvin and it seemed like that was the size of it for quite some time and it made for a great era for these two to fight each other time and time again.i don’t know why but I never really warmed up to the Hit Man Hearns.
Awesome fight….amazing how tough Hearns was to get up after that onslaught also!
