Hi Trav, I live in NYC. Being that close to a rabid guy is dicey; they bite, spit, and defecate all over you. Any suggestions for a subway rider just going to work? Also, could you review the case against that Marine who killed a crazy guy by using a chokehold? What went wrong? Thanks. You are the most realistic fight teacher out there. You are always practical. Thx Zinc pederson
Bros…I get it, the whole Samaritan thing and the emergency choke thing in this video, but if an arm comes around my throat? And I WILL see it, you’re getting a finger, a thumb, a knife or a gunshot in your eyes instantly. Period. Trap the arms instead. Do a chicken wing, bearhug, or some other Aikido sh#t and stay separated from the other party with commitment to your hold and avoiding the choke. If you tie up your hands and his are free, even in a choke, you’re vulnerable. PS I don’t go to bars because it’s a waist of money and I don’t drink in public as a rule, I also don’t live in a dojo just to make up content and create bullsh*t techniques to generate views. Trav, I was also a student of Bas too, you got hustle and his vibe dude, keep it up! I really like your head movement and striking courses!
Nothing frustrates me more than people thinking that eyes are some extremely available and pokeable target. We’re BEHIND the guy. We can close our eyes! We can turn our heads! It’s just madness
Exactly, thank you! Plus any fighter worth his salt would just squeeze even harder instead of give up and let go.
Like Bas used to say ”poke my eyes and I’ll break your neck, okay?”
As usual, sound advice straight through the video!

Front kick, if you want to avoid grappling and they leave you no option.
He choked the guy too long!
I appreciate the kind words
You look like Chris pratt
I approve this message.
When not sure (and for me I am rarely) CYA. Or in my trade (machinist) safe or sorry.
To remember the law has changed so not even police can use choak holds any at all. CYA do something else.
Eatch for the knife
Good luck.
Dont fing sit. The other guy or crowd will kick you to death
I pointed this out in the video.
I really appreciated this video. I hope you’ll make more attached to your newsletters.
Good stuff. Security Police in the early 80s (USAF) – WAY less complicated empty hands techniques on this channel, no fine motor skills necessary LOL

Let’s do a demo. I’ll run the choke on you, and you try to put a finger in my eyes.
I’ll bet ya $100 you go to sleep.
You’re so channeling Bas right now lol
