  1. This guy was riding a stolen bike but did he steal it? Maybe a fact finding discussion first and then an ass drop and more if he was the thief.

  2. I may be wrong but this video has several important elements:

    A) typical for relative primitive societies if we take central Europe as a measure. In other words this speaks about USA.

    B) Think of the following. The owner had just a short look at the bicycle. He could be easily mistaken. Or the bike could be sold to the third person who were not aware of theft. What if the owner attacked the wrong guy?

    C) What if the bicycle rider were stronger or armed? Correct me if I am wrong but the second possibility is quite common in USA. What then?

    D) Dropping whole body weight on a bike rider from some height could easily bring severe injury to the spine. VERY SEVERE ENJURY, even paraleses or worse.

    E) The bike theft is usually considered a smaller expenditure for grown employed person.

In short: we have been watching very immature, low level society reaction to a theft. No more, no less.

  3. Scott is right: Dishonorable display of over-reaction. Disgusting laughter. Stupid fucking nigger being a stupid fucking nigger

  4. Totally fine justice. I don’t think the beating was that bad. It looks like our Protagonist was going pretty easy on him. Those look like body punches. No kicks to the head or anything like that. The flying butt slams I think are more dramatic ( and hilarious) looking than painful.

When crooks n bullies get caught, or bettered in a fight they often curl up and cry like babies. Letting them off is totally fine. Once a warm hearted beating has been administered.

      • Dave didn’t say that. The helpless thief was not chilling on a couch. Poorly raised folks don’t know how to right a wrong and still gain respect.

      • You are incorrect, by the aforementioned logic a person avoids the consequence of violence, they do not avoid any consequences at all, you have perverted the comment you are replying to. Furthermore it is just a bike, if you believe inanimate objects are more important that peoples wellbeing than I truly worry for those who would head your advice.

  5. Sorry… my bike to me, is like an Old Westerner’s horse… Back then, if you stole a horse, it was hanging (mid-West anyway). I don’t see how this bike beating is overdone. He’s still alive.

  6. From what I can see, the offender didn’t resist. He got off the bike and was trying to run away. The aggressor was in no physical danger. The thief was outnumbered, caught by surprise, and against a fence and an incline. The aggressor could have detained him for the police, or asked for help from another passenger to detain the thief; I heard other grown, male adults’ voices in the car. The thief was not going to get away.

If the bike owner–that’s an assumption; the video doesn’t state either way–got his bike back, and the thief is leaving it to run, what is the cause for the beat-down, other than to vent his rage and vengeance and, from what it appears, to entertain the car passengers? Once the thief is down, not resisting, and not escaping, what is the justification for the continued punishment, except for the above–which is not justification–it’s how uncontrolled people act when they’ve taken justice into their own hands and have an audience.

This isn’t self-defense. It’s not street justice, either, because street justice involves standing in the gap for weaker folks to defend others who can’t defend themselves. That’s not the case here.

This is the law of the jungle, not the rule of law. This is why we have police officers, rules of engagement, judges.

It’s not funny, either– at least to me. It’s disgusting. Particularly, as others have pointed out, because kids are watching. They are and will learn from what they see, and copy it. They will learn that this is what you do when someone takes something from you. Someone takes your pencil? Stomp him. Someone takes your place in line? Sucker punch him, then stomp him. Someone takes your girl? Crack his skull while folks are videotaping it to upload on YouTube (as they did here) yellin’ “WorldStar!”

I’m a teacher, had a fourth grade boy respond to my request to remove his hat by making his finger like a gun, pointing it at me, and “pulling the trigger.” He was saying, “I will shoot you with a gun.” Where did he learn that? From behavior like this.

  7. ha ha rough justice for the bike thief and after watching your fainting goat video can see the analogy but thief should have just run away I doubt if the bike owner could have caught him wearing flip flops sure the owner of the bike was a bit excessive but tahts because the guy did not fight back
