There are 98450298 different boxing promotions, but only four of them actually matter.

With four different major divisions, there can technically be four different heavyweight champions all simultaneously arguing about who among them is truly the best.

(I also just started my own boxing promotion ten minutes ago. As the only fighter involved, I write to you as the Fight Smart Boxing Heavyweight Champ Of The World.)

World Champ. Feels good man. While my championship is very much "disputed", my AI generated belt is undisputedly neat.

Anyone who thinks that AI will conquer humanity hasn't used it to design a belt.

We haven't had an Undisputed heavyweight champion for 24 years.

The last guy who simultaneously held the WBA, WBC, IBF, and WBO belts was Lennox Lewis... until now.

I present to you Oleksandr Usyk; the current undisputed heavyweight champion:

With no one else holding the belt of a 'major' promotion, there is no one out there to dispute his world championship... thus, "undisputed".

Perhaps that's obvious to you, but growing up, I thought that "Undisputed" was just another cool adjective that Michael Buffer yelled during his savage introductions.

Usyk is spectacular.

It's been a long time since we've had a 'smaller' heavyweight crushing all of the monsters.

(He was also the undisputed cruiserweight champion... Holyfield is the only other boxer to have both.)

Anyhow, I have a couple of clips that I think you will enjoy:

1. Here is a great video on Usyk, packed with highlights (and other cool stuff that you can hold over your friend's less-knowledgeable heads).

2. Despite his greatness in the realm of destroying others, he has shown great sportsmanship and empathy towards his opponents. Here he is trying to console Daniel Duboise in the ring after dealing him a tough defeat.

3. He also sounds so much like Borat that it makes me giggle like a small child.

I am firmly in this man's fan club.

May his reign lasts a long time, and his brain lasts at least as long thereafter.
