Wow bloody and brutal but beautiful trav, you trained lil John? Well he looks like he’s taking this course because he moves and slips like he fights smart.. wink
Incredible dynamos, real bare knuckle scrappers. Lightweights always deliver a great show with energy and action, loads of technique, movement. I followed up this video with highlights of Tyson Fury highlights-these lightweight fans really got their money’s worth. Thanks for sharing.
The head movement program is kicking my ass!
Nice to hear Robin Black commentating. One of the most under rated MMA analysts out there. Also love the slippin and rippin. Interesting to see this style work so well with bare knuckles. Tyson had the luxery of 16oz gloves to aid his defensive movements.
First off, let me say i loved this fight.Typical Travis material.I never heard of Goodjohn.I love his style of slipping and moving in and out of range. He is a very refined boxer. . Great skills. I’m gonna watch it many times to study his technique.I envy someone who can duck, bob and weave like that.Tyler’s only 27. I’m twice his age. I would love to be able to box like that.
I just watched this video a couple of days ago. Unfortunately I don’t have the ability yet to pick their moves apart and clearly see what you’ve pointed out. It looks like a jumbled up mess of movement to me, kind of like learning a new language and trying to slice up the stream of speech into separate words. How could I develop the ability to see the kinds of things you’ve pointed out to us in the email?

Travis, great stuff ~ Please show Us BKB 16 for title w/Tyler…
great head movement. How do you generate enough power though circling and then throwing a punch while on your back foot like that?

Goodjohn reminds me of Mike Tyson in terms of how he slips, moves in, and counters. Although Tyson had much more power.
