Old school here, with 50+ years of Combat Jujitsu, sometimes I see the advances MMA has been doing in martial arts and I am so happy, growth is happening all over again. Good video thanks.
All fighters have the same tools and techniques. two arms two legs. punch kick knee elbow grab throw arm lock leg lock. Defense? duck doge block parry counter. All the same. If a boxer gets punched in the face, its not because he didn’t know a punch was on the way. NOW understand the evolution of all things in the fighting arts. A kick is better than a punch. more power more range. BUT standing on one leg to deliver a kick? one leg is NOT better than two. Defender strikes the base leg? down you go. BUT a kicker that can give up both legs and go to the air? It looks like a showy move for a movie and not something a serious fighter would do. Not easy to master on the first 10k trys. My instructor used to tuck both hands into his belt. He didn’t need anything else. If you were in range of that? fight over. OVER. Sport martial arts and combat arts. Not the same thing.
I totally get your warning re this strike but dammit that’s maybe the most impressive takedown I’ve ever witnessed! Normally I’d expect this on some Marvel film where the actors are hanging from cables! Amazing!!
That’s what you call Steel technique
He got real sloppy and let his guard down!

GO HEAD TRY IT ON STREET DAY DREAMERS AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS……….PATHETIC
Had to have studied tapes very well, and expected that spinning hammer-fist. The flying-spinning hook kick was thus timed perfectly!

Peter Graham’s rolling thunder KO of Badr Hari is the OG and best example.
