Now in today's workout, I will ask you to "Rear Slip Right, and Rear Slip Left"...

But a lot of people have no idea what I'm talking about.

  1. Yeah, I don’t like the crossing of the legs, nor the “whipping” aspect, which is sort of arm punchish. I also don’t favor the straight back initial sip movement.

  2. I’ve been trying to perfect this move since the 80s, when I first saw Bruce Lee use it in the film Way of the Dragon. I love it, but I often end up falling backwards while hooking forwards. The timing is critical.

  3. Saw this done for real a few years ago. Some drunk giving a bloke aggro in a kebab shop after closing time. The bloke gave him several chances then thought enough’s enough. Slipped his drunken haymaker and and nailed him right on the button, not even that much power needed. The best bit was when the drunk guy hit the deck the bloke actually started singing Golden Brown!!
