  1. There’s a young man with a sense of perspective and proportion far beyond his years. If what you did as an AMATEUR gets the respect of BAS RUTTEN then you’re in a class that’s several cuts above even a champion.

  2. I thought the difference between a person and a bag was that the bag doesn’t hit back. Apparently no one told that guy. Outstanding sportsmanship and heart from the “loser. “

  3. He greatly outclassed his opponent and that is an example of true character. He didn’t want the reputation of being a bully.

  4. Kid’s smart. Why go overboard and get beat up if you’re not making any money? He could have had an awesome KO victory or just an amazing beatdown under his belt, but chose the safety of his opponent instead. When no money is on the line, why bother? Lots of dudes at fighting gyms need to apply that philosophy in sparring…

  5. The highest form of chivalry. To cede a (potential) fight to somebody to save them face or a beating, when you know you can win.
