I write to you again from my brand new computer... after lightning struck my home about a month ago and destroyed literally every electronic device that I own.

Surge protector, smurge protector I say.

But when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade!

And when life gives you lightning, you just hope to not die and open a Best Buy rewards account.

For indeed, like a vicious and unexpected elbow, lightning shall strike... it's simplistic beauty to be appreciated in the weird dreams we have during our lack of consciousness.

And like those Karate guys who actually make it in MMA, sometimes it strikes flamboyantly... it's power arcing through each neuron in our brains, like an unregulated surge through every stupid ethernet connection in our equally stupid home networks.

Does a Nintendo Switch need to be hard wired? Only if you hate it.

But I have a new computer. And I didn't die. And I even have lemonade in the cooler where my refrigerator used to be.

So when life gives you lightning, you purchase lemonade... while your new refrigerator is in transit.
