Lerdsila...

Completely reshaping the Muay Thai narrative.

[kmfblbtns blayout="button_count"]

You may have noticed that I have started doing a little social media advertising lately!

I have been introducing the art of Head Movement to the world of Facebook, and as a result, I've been exposed to a brand new generation of trolls and silly people.

Sadly, there are folks who only care to learn one style of fighting, and are convinced of it's superiority.

Fear not my friend... for they are expertly handled!

If I've learned anything from Fox news, it's that dumb people need to be manipulated with pre-scripted talking points designed to reshape the media narrative.

It's all about the talking points. And the brainwash.

"Bro... if you tried moving your head like that on me, I would kick you in the face. I do Muay Thai."

Should you ever hear this comment, just punch the guy right in the face. You already know that he has no head movement. So... just tee right off. It's basically a free shot.

However, no one would be so bold as to say this to your face, so instead, I would like you to share this video of a man named "Lerdsila" to silence the keyboard warriors:

Here he is... beating the crap out of other Muay Thai fighters with ridiculously over-the-top use of Head Movement.

Where are all of those kicks and knees to the head I was promised?

They don't exist. It's hard enough to punch a moving target, let alone to kick a moving target.

Like anything else, Head Movement can be tailored to your opponent; there are certain slips that I would do less if my opponent was sending a lot of kicks to the head... or perhaps I would violently counter his head-kicks first, and then get back onto my own game.

I also submit into evidence, and age-old classic that I've shared at least 100 times: Anderson Silva vs. Forrest Griffin.

Forrest was a Muay Thai fighter. Anderson Silva was on the Muay Thai Dream-Team. Both guys 'know Muay Thai'.

One of the two had great head movement...

The other went to sleep.

(Here's a funny video in which Forrest expressed how dumb he felt trying to hit Mr. Silva.)

Nevertheless... you are now armed with powerful information which could be used to reshape the Muay Thai narrative, and brainwash the dumdums into being smarter.

(or we can keep this all a secret and just hit people in the head easily. A 'manual' washing of the brain... if you will.)

In any event, have a fantastic weekend.
