common in wrestling… not sure how it works if someone is behind you but it does.
I glean from your exhibits a and b that it all depends on the position for slam to whether it can be avoided or not. If it is on the side, Nelson style, the slam will be really dangerous. If on the front by hooking to the others leg one can keep alive well.
