After sending out the last few videos on Fedor (and his entire family's ice cold demeanor), I got a ton of people asking me how they can behave with such steadfast confidence. Being fearless would be nice.... but it's easier said than done.
In part, you need to be confident in your ability to defend yourself... so you had better do some darn training.
The truth is that a LOT of people (even well trained fighters) have very intense 'fight or flight' responses, and it's often a lot for people to overcome.
You might feel sick to your stomach, your arms feel weak, you may start sweating, and the last thing in the world you want to do is actually engage in a brawl... it's hard to come off as 'tough' when you feel like you're about to drop a deuce in your undies.
Fortunately, there are ways around this negative physiological response... you just need to understand what's happening, and with some simple techniques, you can calm your nerves and behave in a more heroic (and less fearful) way. This helped me a LOT any time I was walking out to the ring for a fight.
This is an old-school video... so you may have seen it before. If not, it's a good one to add to your mental arsenal.
