Good thing the kid didn’t face the kicker, he’d probably have had his eyes closed and his face would been unrecognizable with no nose or teeth. Maybe even a Le Fort class 3 injury (“floating face”) that can’t be fixed.

Great to have another obvious old school medical practitioner of some sort on here! I haven’t scored a “LeFort fracture” in over 20 years. I miss suctioning blood and teeth in order to pass that endotracheal tube in the field. Oh, how I pine for the old days!
