  • Trav,
Thank you for the videos. COVID has KO’d me financially so I have yet to make a purchase. As soon as I get my legs back under me I will be buying this course and more.

I am a former boxer and a bouncer. The usually somewhat intoxicated (if not completely smashed) tough guy is my usual adversary. Some can fight, most can’t. Regardless of skill level a vast majority of what I see is guys trying to remove your head from your body with big wild hooks or overhand punches. When shit goes sideways as it often does while mixing booze, women and ego. The actual physical conflict is usually over in seconds. It is usually in very cramped often crowded places. It almost always comes down to who lands the first solid shot.

That being said. The information and techniques that you are teaching are going to give anyone that can even be moderately effective using them an incredible advantage. Head movement and a well placed body shot will almost always win the day.
Most guys that are going to start shit with you are not trained competent martial artists. They are opportunistic criminals, insecure bullies that believe they have an advantage due to size or physical stature or jealous egotistical asswads that should have their drinking privilege revoked. Sometimes a combination of the three. My point is guys that want to fight for the love of mutual combat that commit the effort to become skilled practitioners of their chosen discipline are rarely if ever the guys you are going to have to defend yourself against.

If someone were to take just the free stuff that you have given me and practice until they were even just minimally proficient. They could successfully defend themselves and do a fair amount of damage in 80 to 90% of the physical confrontations that most people are likely to encounter.

Real shit happens real fast and it is often really ugly. Simple, straight forward easy to execute actions designed to incapacitate an attacker quickly and effectively are what people need to defend themselves. What you are teaching is actually going to help someone that doesn’t have the desire or the inclination to be a “fighter” end an unwanted physical confrontation favorably and get on about their business.

I will be recommending you and your system to any and everyone I know.

    Thank you.

  • Awe! Man Trav your son is adorkable! What a chip off of the old block! In my house this is a good thing…

  • but doesn’t it take a lot of power? Sure Joe Frazier or Mike Tyson could flatten almost anyone with a left hook, and so can a good Muey thai kicker. But most of us are not that powerful. I’ve done years of karate, and the only times I’ve ever knocked anyone out were with a back thrust kick to the plexus, and a shuto to the neck.

...two weeks after I got your course and had been practicing it, I got jumped by an inmate during a cell search with his some-made shank. I used your sleeve defense and it worked perfectly.  He attacked exactly the way you showed us and that I trained for.  He first shoved and then grabbed my shirt with his left hand and came in low on the right with the shank.  Your defense worked perfectly and I walked without a scratch. Now I teach my guys that technique and I'm pushing all of them to buy your stuff.  You sent me home safe bro and I appreciate it!!!

If you want to use this comment as part of your marketing please do so just leave my name out of it due to HIPAA laws and various state laws that govern correctional officers here. They could fire me if this comment was connected to me. but anyway thanks again looking forward to the rest of your training.
